I ordered this because I have a similar light that I use at venues with dimly lit stages where I play music and need to be able to read my sheets of music. This light looked much like the one I already have, but it is much smaller. It's about 1/2 the size and, of course, has less battery power, but I like it because of its size and brightness. It clamps nicely to the various music stands I've used it on.It's about the size of other book light/music stand lights that feature two individual lights on flexible stalks, but this one has 3 LED strips that can be positioned in a variety of ways to flood one or two pages with light. I didn't need the timer function yet so I've not tested that. Additionally, it can easily fit into my guitar case, something my other, bigger light has trouble doing without careful packing. As the description says, there are different brightness and color settings. I prefer the brightest setting to make it easier to read the print on my music sheets. My eyes ain't what they used to be in my youth.I used it at an open mic last week and shared it with other performers and received some nice compliments. At the end of the night, after about 1 hour of off-and-on use on the highest setting, the charge indicator showed 3 out of 4 bars. The only thing that may be a detraction to me is that the function buttons seem to be extremely sensitive to touch and can change when you are adjusting where the light is clamped. Once set up the way you like it, the settings don't change.I'm guessing it will not turn itself off, so I take care when placing it in my guitar case so that I don't accidentally turn it on and deplete the battery before I use it again. It's about half the size and around half the price of the other light it resembles, but it performs just about as well in the venues where I need a light. I'd recommend it as an alternative to a larger, more expensive light. If the light has performance issues in an unreasonable length of time, I'll be sure to update this review.

I made and put up a little video review here to show this product in detail and will hopefully answer any questions you might have. So this written part is in addition to that ans I'll try not to repeat what is in that. I feel that his product is well thought out and disgned. And well made from quality materials as far as i can tell - as I'm no expert on this kind of small electronic product.I could not be more pleased!! I got this as an additional light source for when I make videos for my youtube channel. I love how much different and strong each color of light is. Much more so than the other multiple temperature light options I have.This is perfect for me to be able to show what the different nail polishes i show how i make because nail polish is notorious for looking completely different in direct light, bright sun, indoor light, candle light, and florescent light. With this one little clamp-on light i will be able to show each of these very well!Since making polishes that vary dramatically in different lighting has become sort of a specialty of mine, this little three way head stlyle light is THE IDEAL SOLUTION for me.This light solves a dilemma I've been dealing with. In order to effectively show to make the polish i need a big flood of a lot of light so that those watching can see what I'm doing well in order to recreate it. However this really restricted my ability to show the nifty shiftyness of the specialty pigments that hold so much of the wow factor of the finished polish. Now I can turn off my other lights and switch to this one to show off these aspects.It will also be invaluable for showing any beauty and makeup tutorials because I will be able to show the differences of what is optimal for daytime wear, both indoor and out, as well as evening wear. And to illustrate the reasons for the specific do's and don'ts for each. Yayyyeee!!This clip on adjustable gooseneck three way light is very light in weight and compact in size. These aspects are well suited for countless portable lighting needs from clipping it to a book, to intricate crafts, doing ones makeup, to just about anything else I can think of. And also make it perfect for travel.BUT DONT LET THAT FOOL YOU, it is a very powerful bright light! So much so that I am very glad that it has the multiple brightness settings and flavors - so it will still be great in situations where ya don't want too much light!I would definitely recommend this light touch çlip on light with countless adjustable options! Great light! This light does what it's advertised to do. It works great, has a long battery life and is easy to use. I also like that this light is easy to clip to my work space or that I can use it unclipped by standing it on it's base. It also provides a good amount of light and I like that you can change the color and level of the light. My favorite feature of this light is the battery indicator because that's why I choose to buy this light. None of the other lights have a battery indicator but they should because it's so useful. My only complaints about this light is that while the on switch is very easy to use and touch sensitive, it also means that it sometimes gets triggered accidentally by me or when I put it in my bag. Mine also did not come with the manual or the bookmark even though it was sold as new.
