This kit does not include the magnetic adapter ring. So you have to screw in the UV filter, which is threaded. That UV filter acts as the magnetic adapter for other filters, such as the included magnetic CP-L. The problem with this approach is - for any wide-angle lens, this stacking will cause vignetting because the UV filter is not that thin. If they included an adapter ring, you could have swapped out the UV filter with the CP-L to reduce vignetting. That's how other magnetic kits in the market works (I have a few). On this kit, you basically have to unscrew the UV filter to then screw in the CP-L to avoid vignetting, and there goes the magnetic aspect! Design flaw. My lens is 18-135 on APS-C, so 27-200 on full frame terms. Not that wide, and this causes vignetting unless I unscrew the UV.

I used it on my Laowa 9mm f2.8 wide angle prime. took a bunch of photos and find out I can still see the filter ring wound the lens. When stack together the it is even worst as you can see the second pic I have attached. Not usable for me so I have to return it

Kauf jetzt lieber andere.

I bought this for my trip to see my family in Korea and it was a hassle the entire time. I thought it would be nice to have the magnetic version so it would be easy to pop on and off the CPL depending on the day but it was frustrating and difficult.I do want to mention that I am definitely a novice when it comes to cameras so this is for that perspective.I would also like to point out that the magnets were either too weak and fall off or too strong and I couldn’t separate them ( like the cover from the CPL). I wish I liked this more because I thought it would’ve been fun to carry around other lenses and mess around the more comfortable I got with it but I just don’t think that’ll be the case in the future.I still have it a 3/5 because it feels very well made and the CPL does feel superior in quality to the one I had on my old lens, I also feel like a lot of thought was put into it but it’s just something that I feel like I have to deal with until I can afford a new CPL lens for my camera. For reference I use a Canon EOS 90D and the lens is a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II

I love this magnetic way to attach to my lens; it's convenient. Build quality is outstanding, and glass quality is acceptable (I'm not a professional). However, the magnetic should have been stronger; sometimes, I nearly made it drop. I use it with 70-200gm2, there is a gap between my lens cap and filter when I place the cap on the filter (see my screenshot). Although the cap clings, I am a bit worried

I bought this set for my Hasselblad 907X 100C and 28 lens. The UV is perfect and gives excellent pass through light on the lens. The magnetic ability is awesome! When I want to use the circular polarizing filter, all I do is set it on the UV filter and it locks down instead of having to screw it on. The polarizer is great.

summilux 50mm cap shows a bad look when using a filter.Using this filter and cap maintains a very compliant appearance (The thickness is unfortunately thick)It's a magnetic filter, but only the cpl filter doesn't have scoops and the rest has scoops.

The design and packaging of this filter set is impressive. The two sets of filters come nicely packaged in a cylindrical box and has padding support for the filter set. The magnetic attachment makes changing filters very convenient. All my other filters are screw-in so I was able to appreciate the advantages of the magnetic attachment. In terms of the results, the polarizing filter has good results. I have so far used it for taking pictures around a water body at a local park. The filter does help to reduce the unwanted reflections and even out the light in my pictures.I would have given it 5 stars but it is slightly expensive. 4 stars for the results and excellent packaging.

These are very well-made filters. The kit comes with a magnetic adapter ring,, 2 lens caps, a UV filter and a CPL.I can detect absolutely no distortion or aberration in the glass. It appears optically perfect. There is an unusual design choice and I’m not sure if it’s a plus or minus. All of the filters have a screw thread. I guess that gives you the option of screwing them on a regular threaded lens barrel. But it also means there’s a more material then there needed to be with a straight magnetic filter. They’re still fairly low profile but they could’ve been a lot smaller if they didn’t include the screw threads with the lot.The turning on the polarizer filter is very smooth it’s still has enough of a bite to stay where you put it. The ring has a nice little jimping around it so you can get a grip even with gloves. And the magnets stay put. Again I’m not sure why they decided to go with threads on everything. But the filters stacked together well enough and just from my cursory testing the polarizer works excellently.Still it’s a great little set. They do not include a case except for the odds cardboard packaging. Clearly they’re pushing some kind of environmental angle which I’m not really sure is relevant for a camera filter. They could’ve actually gone with far less packaging.I’ve got some serious testing to do before I make a unknown filter manufacturer part of my regular kit but so far these things up here quite nice. I’ll post some pictures when I test out the CPL. You figure the price of these you’re getting a UV filter for free.

I come from the old school, back in the day using my Nikon FE with a 1.4 50 mm lens. I kept my polarizing filter handy. It's amazing at how it cuts the glare, and deepens the colors. I almost want to say it is the best investment you can make in a filter to take your photography to a more professional level. If you have ever taken some photos of a scene at the shore, or wherever there is water, and the glare/reflection is blinding; this is the answer. With the German glass, and the fact that it is wafered between two protective covers to keep it from being scratched in between uses, not to mention the German glass which of course is the most important aspect of it, you realize that you may find cheaper polarizers, but not at this quality level.Polarizer filters provide a means of cutting glare, improving contrast, and eliminating reflections in your photos. Since these unique advantages cannot be found with any other lens filter, polarizers are worth it for any type of photography.I have been saving my sheckles, and have a new Canon R7 arriving this week, and with the kit lens that comes with it, this 55 mm polarizing filter will fit on it just right. It's opening up a whole new world of capturing videos that goes beyond my DJI Osmo Action camera, and smaller Sony cam as well.
