I have the exact Leica lens in the example image. The Elmarit R 135mm lens as seen in the photo with the nikkormat camera and the adapter sprawled out…. The lens 1000% doesn’t fit the adapter. The adapter fits the Nikon I have, but not my Leica R lens. Wtf Urth? The hole isn’t even big enough to fit my lens inside. My camera has 3 prongs on the outer circle and this adapter has one slight divot on the inside. How does my lens fit? Also, how dare you use the same ones that I have as an example of how your product works and then have it not work? I really don’t wanna be writing this review. I really would rather have just gotten a product that worked as described.

Marche bien sur un D3100 avec mon Helios 44, les photos sont plutôt pas mal mais attention, malgré la lentille il n’y aura pas de mise au point à l infini. Maintenant , on a une mise au point qui permet quand même de s’éloigner du sujet au besoin. La lentille ne me semble pas trop dénaturer l’objectif, voir deux photos prisent vite fait lors de la livraison, il y a moyen de s’améliorer encore. Très content de cette bague.

Adapter is all metal with very tight tolerances. Tricky at first to connect but sat snugly on camera once we figured it out.The lens was pretty old so maybe that was the issue, but autofocus and stabilization did not work as my d5500 did not recognize the lens. Also, because of that, my camera would not allow auto settings.Lol, at least we got a chance to practice our manual camera skills

El tema de adaptar lentes tiene su truco, pero Urth ha dado donde es. Nikon y su montura F siempre han sido un caso particular con el tema del foco infinito y siempre ha requerido de agregar vidrio óptico, sea por medio de un adaptador externo o por medio de un empalme artesanal dañando otro lente para poder usar el vidrio. Urth viene con vidrio óptico incluido y es un vidrio que ya es "coated", y mantiene la calidad lo más fidedigna posible de los lentes. Yo lo compré para un Súper Takumar 135 mm 2.5 6 elementos, y con ése lente en particular, va fenomenal. Este adaptador no es apto para aquellos lentes que por su recorrido lleven el vidrio a la bayoneta de forma extrema, en ésos casos, es mejor hacer un poco de DIY o de llevar donde un profesional. Sobre el adaptador, debo decir que el proceso de atornillar es largo, y queda muy bien sujeto, al inicio se escucha un click y uno creería que está listo, pero ése click es el click de que no se sale, hay que seguir atornillando hasta que no de mas. Un tip, para quitarlo, tienen que volverlo a hacer con la tapa F que vino con el adaptador, ya que tiene unos ganchitos de plástico endurecido que sirven para desatornillar, con la mano no hay poder humano.Excelente producto por donde se le mire

This is my second purchase of this adaptor and it works great on my D750 combined with my M42 mount Takumar lens. I recently adapted my Takumar 200mm f3.5 to my D750 and image results with no processing are impressive good.

Unfortunately, even with its premium price tag, I was deeply disappointed in the URTH adapter. It suffered from heavy vignetting and later it became stuck on my lens. I ultimately had to take it to a professional camera repair shop and they explained the design allow it to over rotate on the lens base and lock into a position that cannot be escaped without tools. $60 later it was removed. I sent the adapter back and while this particular mount of adapter is generally hard to find, after some searching I found and purchased a Photodiox adapter for about 1/2 the price. The Photodiox has minimal vignetting, is well made and can be easily and successful removed when need be.Sorry, people of URTH.

Adattatore di buonissima fattura, attenzione però che con alcuni obiettivi (nel mio caso Helios 44m-6) la lente posteriore va a toccare il lentino dell'adattatore non consentendo quindi la messa a fuoco all'infinito.

It's a cool idea, but there are a bunch of M42 lenses that I had laying around such as the Zenit 44-2 Helios, and the Industar 50 f/3.5 would not work with this adapter. The issue is that when focusing these lenses the rear element comes back and extends into the adapter area. Both of those lenses hit the adapter and could not turn past about 20ft on the focus ring - which I guess is what they would focus to with a plain M42-F adapter with no retrofocal optic. It looks like this adapter will work with the Helios 40-2 but then you can get that direct in F mount so why bother. YMMV but just be sure your lens does not have an internal element that extends out past the M42 threads or it will hit the glass of this adapter.
