I guess I missed where it said acrylic wheat straw so I was shocked when I opened them to see basically plastic bowls. They aren’t bad, not flimsy or anything. They are a good size and I just have designated them for the kids bowls. They say they are microwave safe but first use heating up left over stew and the sides where the liquid was now has those white marks in the plastic. So I don’t recommend putting them in the microwave. No issues in the dishwasher. We have other wheat straw products and I expected something a little more durable. They are great for kids snacks and cereal tho.

These appear to be very durable plastic bowls. I’m not an expert on wheat straw plastics so I can’t confirm there. There are no markings on the bottom to indicate what they’re made of, or if they're microwave or dishwasher safe. The listing does mention they are dishwasher safe but as of now it doesn’t mention microwave-ability.The aesthetic of these bowls at first glance is unimpressive. I initially thought they were comparable to plastic bowls you might find in packs of three at the dollar store, but upon further inspection these are definitely more durable, they just appear cheap.I’ll definitely use them in my camper.

Best US purchase for unbreakable bowls. It is hard to find products made in the US, but my husband had found these and they work great. Very deep, durable, and made in the great USA!!
