The overall product's construction was acceptable (not good) until I tried to use the main zipper. The zipper needed a lot of coaxing when it got to a corner. The teeth were very large and loosely joined with the zipper pull and I expected a problem with any pressure from contents of the bag. More than $35.00 deserves a better zipper.

The similar one I got overseas more than 10 years ago is coming to its end, so I am happy I found this one. It is solid and with multiple pockets outside, very useful for my Plein air painting paper, board, sketchbook, etc. The largest vertical pocket on the outside layer can also put in the easel or a rain jacket. Two things I am not sure about: the zipper looks huge but the "tooth" seems way too big and loose for the size of the portfolio, not sure how long it will last. The second is that the portfolio came with a very strong chemical odor that smells terribly, I have to put it outside of my studio for a few days before I can even use it. Be aware.

the size of the bag is nice but what good is it if the main zipper is broken. very disappointed.

I collect theatre posters. The portfolio is the perfect size to keep them safe, and has additional pockets for keeping Sharpies for signing. For rigidity, I keep the posters between two foam art boards, and that works perfectly. Without those, the portfolio is so flexible that materials would be twisted, creased, or have edges damaged. If would be a simple matter for the manufacturer to provide them with the case, but it's hardly a deal breaker to need to provide them myself.

First, most of the reviews point out that the corners are too rounded to properly fit a 18x24 pad, and they are right. My pad just barely fits in there despite the extra height and width inside the bag. I had to sand down the corners of my drawing board and shove it in there just to prevent any fraying from happening to the corners of my artwork. That being said, it’s an alright bag. It has lots of pockets and can accommodate most art supplies, although some may not fit in there intended slot. (My brushes won’t fit in the rectangular pocket but I don’t mind). The larger pocket can easily accommodate a small pad or even a laptop. I haven’t tested out how waterproof it is, nor am I to keen to find out. Just in case, I keep an umbrella in the pocket intended for a tube.TL:DR, it’s an okay bag but I’m sure you can find better options if you look hard enough.UPDATE: the bag is already starting to show signs of wear at the zippers. This is a bag I use regularly to travel to class on a daily basis so it gets constant use, but I can’t imagine this bag lasting any longer. What’s more annoying is the rounded corners, which prevents my drawing pad from fitting properly.

Just received this and it's seems to be of great quality considering the low price. Really sturdy, nice quality zipper, lots of outer compartments. I am using this to transport several 16 x 20 foam core mounted posters and various other display items. I love that it has a backpack carrying option, too. It's very professional looking and you cannot beat the price.

Beautiful bag of some plastic-type fabric. Good quality zippers and as many pockets to choose from as I could have ever desired. Has backpack or side-handle carrying options (can hang on back of chair whennot in use using backpack straps). Overall very nice product, definitely worth its money! (Plus the box is the perfect size to store in my closet with older pieces inside.)

I bought this to house the Anki Overdrive track pieces and cars. It is perfect to put all that stuff in one carrying case that is set up like a backpack. Track pices fit well in main compartment, cars, trucks and elevation risers all fit in front pockets nicely. I have all 9 vehicles and every track piece in this thing. The only thing that won't fit is the intersection (demolition derby) cross piece. Everything else fits like it was made for it.And when my 6 yr old becomes an artist, he will have a great portfolio pack to use. Very nice. Buy!!
