The part lasted for 2 months before becoming a molten mess. Safety issue? Atleast it did its job and failed, shutting down the system. I don't think I will get a replacement from this company based on the work it took to replace...need something to last atleast a season.

We thought our part arrived damaged but the seller explained that there is a flattened area two inches from the connector. This is done during the manufacturing process to keep the inner wire from moving during assembly. Also, if you have any trouble after installing it, read the reviews. We picked up some great troubleshooting tips that way and got everything working wonderfully again. All in all we are fully satisfied with the seller's response to our concerns, and are satisfied with the product itself. Nice to have a working fireplace again just in time for cold weather!

I used this product as an exact replacement for my gas-fired fireplace. However this item doesn't last a long time. Therefore, when i ordered it i then ordered two of them just to have a spare handy. the manufacturer of this part should definitely improve upon it.

Worked great to fix my gas fireplace that hasn't worked in a few years. Fairly easy to install but the tight spaces proved difficult in the back.
