Do not buy!! Compass does not properly align with magnetic field. Seller doesn’t take returns and Amazon “A to Z” guarantees BS and wouldn’t help. Stay far away.

This compass is a complete piece of garbage. Rarely moves. When it does move, it is excruciatingly slow and never goes back to the same spot. It cannot find north. Useless. And where does it say it is not returnable? I would not have purchased this if I had seen that. Seems like there is a reason that fact is not plainly stated and easily seen. I would give it a zero, but of course, that is not an option. More Chinese garbage. I should have known when I saw it came from San Francisco, CA.

There were 2 problems. The major one is that the North arrow points West. The other is that the magnifier does not open all the way.

I'm skeptical to believe all the claims in the description. The seller appears to have intentionally blocked the text on the case in the included photos. See the ones I attached.Next the pouch is NOT as described. Again, see my photos. That being said, it does appear to work. It may be some time before I trust my life with it.Once the phosphorus paint is "charged up" with a flashlight, it works well enough. Just fails to last very long without recharging.OK, maybe I'm spoiled using the one I was issued in the military and maybe I shouldn't complain considering this one is a mere fraction of the price of the tritium model.Note that tritium isn't very expensive so cost cutting measures may have been made elsewhere.Without extensive testing, over time, I can't testify to it's quality, accuracy or longevity. Yet.Shipping was over a week from Southern California to Arizona. It looks like the military version but I'm cautious to say that it actually is.
