I feel like I can hear the theme song to Rocky when I wear these :) I’m 5-08, 150, athletic build and I own and wear a LOT of running shorts. Typically I’m a size M but for some unknown reason I ordered a L. I definitely could have gone with the M, especially since I have no booty or hips to speak of. These fit just like the pics show, pretty loose and comfortable. The waistband is wide and it also has a draw string… it has the LONGEST DRAW STRING I have ever seen. Untied, the ends go to the bottom of my knees, and I’ve got long legs! I tied it in a bow and then tucked the ends INTO the shorts because it was just too much. Also, these have POCKETS! I wouldn’t put MUCH in them, because these are really light weight shorts, but I put my key fob in them and the shorts didn’t look weird. If you wear a lot of running shorts, the main thing that’s different is there’s no built in panty, but for regular shorts that’s not unusual. The red is not a dark red, it’s on the orange side of red, also no big deal, just a note. Overall, I’m super pleased with these, definitely recommend.
