USB-C hub with usb-c connector, usb-c power pass-through, and Thunderbolt/usb-c video. It's worked reliably for me. I have it plugged into the usb-c charging port of my Thinkpad. I plug my usb-c charging cable into the pass-through port on the hub, and I plug my portable monitor into the hub (one cable for both video and power). What I haven't verified is the wattage I can achieve through the hub into my laptop (because my laptop is perpetually almost fully charged). I can get 11W from the hub to a peripheral with or without my monitor plugged into the hub. Interestingly, I can't get much power out of the *video* usb-c port on the hub when I test it with other devices besides a monitor, but that's ok for me because I only use it for my monitor.I give this product 5 stars because I cannot find a flaw in it, but keep in mind that I haven't explored usb technology very deeply. I don't know its quirks. When I plug something else into the charger (another product) that powers the hub, the hub has to renegotiate its power supply to my peripherals, causing my mini-router (which is plugged into the hub) to lose power for a sec (other than that, my mini-router gets enough power from the hub). But that's probably a problem with my charger. Bottom line is that I don't regret buying the product, but you also shouldn't take my review too seriously if you're the kind of person who wants to get everything right. That's not to say there's anything wrong with the product. It seems really solid. I'm just trying to make sure that you, the reader, understand that even though I haven't found any flaws in the product, there may well be some. Because I just don't care that much as long as it works for my purposes.

Works as intended, all ports that were depicted as transferring data does so. Only downside is that the monitor input doesn't also have power input capabilities even if there is power coming from the cable

cable was stiff when I got it, made little crackling noises for a second when I first bent it, then it's been fine since! High quality for the price, feels and looks great, and works with all my peripherals just fine

This MOKIN USB-C hub has completely solved my connectivity challenges with my MacBook Pro. After trying several cheaper hubs that either overheated or disconnected randomly, this one delivers rock-solid performance across all its functions. The standout feature is the ability to handle everything simultaneously - I can connect my external 4K monitor, transfer files to an external SSD, and charge my laptop all at once without any performance hiccups. The 100W power delivery means my laptop stays charged even during processor-intensive tasks.Build quality is excellent with a premium aluminum housing that dissipates heat effectively. The hub stays cool even after hours of continuous use. The attached cable has a durable braided covering and reinforced connections that inspire confidence in its longevity.Data transfer speeds are exactly as advertised - moving large video files from my laptop to external storage is noticeably faster than with my previous USB 3.0 hub. The 10Gbps speed makes a real difference when working with larger files.I particularly appreciate the thoughtful design touches - the indicator lights are subtle but visible, and the spacing between ports accommodates larger USB devices without blocking adjacent connections. The compact size makes it perfect for travel while still providing all the connectivity I need. For anyone using a modern laptop with limited port options, this hub delivers reliable performance across all its functions. It's not the cheapest option, but the consistent reliability makes it worth every penny.

Not much else to say other than that it does exactly what it's supposed to do. SD card ports (both microSD and SD) read at full speed of the card (~90 MB/s). The quality is very good, made of metal and sturdy. The reason I bought this one is because its cable is long and it has 3 Type-A USB ports (I don't mind the third one being USB2.0), while still being relatively small. The others had 2 ports.

I've had this since october 2020 and it is still working well. My only wish would be for it to include power delivery pass through too. The lack of this isn't a problem for my macbook but it prevents me using this with my steam deck except on battery.

I bought it because I needed to connect my Apple iMac to an external secondary monitor. I got this one because it's HDMI port can support 60Hz, which is quite important for me. It works good so far, but I have only used for a week or so. Not sure about it's duarbility, but the ports look sturdy as far as I can see. It does not have a network port unfortunately, which would have been nice.

glad I bought this item it works perfectly.i recently bought a MacBook Pro 2020 with the m1 chip and then sent for a couple of hubs to convert the usb c thunderbolt to hdmi and also to use with my external usb hdd, 2 hubs came a very expensive one and this mokin hub the dearer one couldn't mirror on the tv so I sent back fortunately I had bought this mokin one as well it works perfectly.very easy to use just plug it in and it just works, small and very porterble it gets a little hot but all hubs that I have tried over the years have done and its of no detriment I have found if you lay it on its side it remains a little cooler.it appears to be very solidly made hopefully it will last me a very long time .
