Perfect Budget Mic for Streaming & Content Creation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐As a streamer, I’m always on the lookout for gear that improves my setup without breaking the bank, and this USB-C Wireless Lavalier Mic absolutely delivers!Super Easy SetupRight out of the box, this mic was plug-and-play—no annoying app installs or complicated pairing needed. I just plugged the receiver into my phone, clipped the mic on, and boom—I was good to go! It works perfectly with my PC, tablet, and even my phone, making it super versatile for different content types.Great Sound for the PriceFor a budget-friendly mic, I was seriously impressed with the audio quality. It picks up my voice clearly without too much background noise, making it perfect for streaming, TikToks, and quick podcast recordings. My chat even noticed the improvement right away!Compact & Wireless FreedomI love how small and lightweight this mic is—it doesn’t get in the way, and I can move around freely without worrying about wires. Whether I’m adjusting my setup or doing an on-the-go vlog, it stays put and sounds great.A Few Things to NoteThe battery life is solid, but don’t forget to charge it if you’re planning a long session.Works best in quiet environments—while it does a decent job at reducing noise, it’s not a high-end noise-canceling mic.Double-check compatibility with your device. It works flawlessly with my USB-C devices, but iPhone users will need an adapter.Final VerdictIf you’re a streamer, vlogger, or content creator looking for an affordable, wireless mic that actually sounds good, this one’s a winner. It’s a game-changer for my streams, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting to level up their audio without spending a fortune!

I have been wanting to up my nature noises recording game by at least having a microphone that wasn't picking up every finger movement and my breathing along with the birds. Wind mic covers a definite plus. These work fine for voice, but birds are noise to it. It's so user friendly, there's no way to get rid of the noise canceling if you'd rather hear all of the soundscape. It is really easy. I plugged it into the phone and turned on each mic and set them in the yard. The lights stayed green, indicating still connected, at quite some distance. (About 50 feet and a window.) I brought up Merlin and it carefully listened to the often muted birdsong that would suddenly be allowed through with distortion at the start and finish. It didn't know what it was listening to. I also tried it with the default (Android 12) recording app which also happily recorded distorted and often muted ambient sounds. It seemed to be recording a combined track, so I tried it on the laptop (running Debian Bookworm) and it again worked without any configuration except choosing the mic in the recording software. I recorded with Audacity which makes it very clear that both mics are being combined into a single track. I had assumed they'd get assigned left and right at least.

I am starting to use my iPhone 16 Pro® more for recording video, but I noticed that my voice audio does not come in clearly, particularly if it is windy which is not to unusual here on the Central Oregon Coast. I requested this lavalier microphone set to see if that would help. Of course, whenever I want to test rain gear it does not rain, so it stands to reason, when I want to test a microphone, it isn’t windy. Not to be deterred, I created my own wind with our portable living room fan blowing on my face while I recorded audio. First, let me say, I like this lavalier microphone! I left my phone with the microphone receiver in my office, closed the office door, and sat down in the living room. I then proceeded to turn on the fan and step up the fan speed from 1 to 4 (maximum). With just the foam windshield, there was no “wind” interference at speeds 1 and 2; at speeds 3 and 4 I could hear the whir of the motor and some wind “rumbling” but my voice recording was still very clear and understandable. I then switched to the fuzzy windshield (or “windjammer”) and even at the highest speed, I could hear the whir of the motor but no wind interference. I also had my wife put on the second microphone and go to her office and close the door. The recording was crystal clear for both microphones. At least thus far, my only very minor complaint is that it is easy to accidentally hit the power button on the microphones which pauses the microphone (the phone will continue recording “dead air”).PROS• This is an excellent audio recording addition to video recording on compatible devices such as iPhones.• The set comes with two lavalier microphones which work well together.• The receiver plugs into an iPhone with a USB-C port without an adapter.• The set comes with USB-C to USB-A and Lightning® adapters.• The phone can be charging while the receiver is working provided you have a USB-C power cable.• The Y-cable that comes with the set can charge both microphones simultaneously.• The set also includes foam and fuzzy windshields and they seem to work well (although I have yet to try it on a real windy day on the coast with the sound of breakers in the background).CONS• This is a very minor complaint – it is easy when handling the microphone to pause the microphone.
