I have to jiggle it a lot to get it to charge any of my 2 kindles and even then most of the time it's not working, would not buy it again.

I have had a number of kindles over the years and now am into the one with the quicker charge. This means that I had to update my charging wire and plug to charge my older Kindles. I noticed that when I looked over my older charging kindle wire and plug, it looked kind of burned. I suggest everyone check out their equipment periodically. I appreciate the fact that Amazon keeps the older style available.
