I was excited to try out this camping light/fan in our indoor blanket fort but it didn't quite live up to expectations. It feels a little cheaply made, but it does turn on and the remote does work. The downlight works as expected, but the fan itself and the stars are both real disappointments. The stars were more cartoon than galaxy even though the main photo shows a galaxy style projection and if you didn't look near the end of the photos you wouldn't realize it isn't that. My biggest issue with them was that the image was really blurry on it. The fan operation also left something to be desired. I am not sure if it is isn't properly weighted or what, but the fan wobbles the whole unit a lot and makes it very unstable to hang. I am not sure about battery life for it, but using the blurry stars and downlight did work for a couple of hours with no issues. I definitely wouldn't buy this again.

This portable camping light/fan is really great. The fan has two settings and I have to say I'm impressed with how nicely the fan works on the high setting. My daughter always sleeps with a fan going so she is excited to have one now for our camping trips as well. We camp a lot and can't wait to try this out in the tent. It's nice that the light shines down, but also has the top part that projects stars and planets onto the top of the tent. My daughter is most excited about that part. The size is perfect and can easily go into a backpack or other travel gear. It seems to keep a good charge. We have been playing around with it for several days and haven't had to charge it again yet. I imagine if we were to use it for several hours at a time, however, that we would need to charge it more often.
