Love it has not broken in 2 years plus time. holds tight no complaints have gotten compliment son it.I will probably get 1 for my pickup with a flat mount.all cars and vehicles should have fire Extinguishers for safety.

Like most reviewers on this item, I too had to drill out the main bracket hole for the release pin as it was in there so tight, I almost needed a second set of hands to free it.A 1/4" drill bit was the perfect size to make the pin free and easy to release without resulting in any rattling.Note: I got the aluminum version.

The mount installed easily, all the hardware is included and fits. The only thing is that the fit is slightly loose and that let my extinguisher rattle around just a little. I used some Gorilla tape to shim it tighter, it seems perfect now.

First it's a great design. rated it very low, hose clamps that secure fire extinguisher to top bracket, one was broken in box, the screw piece fell out of clamp, the other one broke when I started to tighten it. Had to buy two new hose clamps, (better quality) the two bolts that mount the bottom bracket to the roll bar clamp are to small in Dia. (wrong size) I purchased two new larger bolts that fit the threads, but now the holes in the bottom bracket are to small for the larger bolts, had to drill out holes larger, bottom line is I got it to work, functions great now. just poor-quality control.

Love the way this functions & the solid quality of this fire extinguisher mount.I wanted some way to mount on my RSI SmartCap door molle panel & found this to be a great option. The anti-scratch surface where it attaches was key in my use case. It is clearly beneficial for roll bars also.I bought nylon insert lock nuts that worked with the provided bolts. Drilling the mounting holes in the molle panel was the hardest part of this installation.Love how it turned out & holds my extinguisher solid off road & in a very handy location!

Great quality!! Heavy duty! Has been installed on multiple trips so far and no problems! Easy to remove if needed. I like the fact this one is held on by heavy duty clamps to the cage rail vs others have those screw bands. Very happy with this!! Will recommend!
