I was looking for a lighting kit to put on a side by side that potentially could help allow it to be street-legal in some areas. This kit was available and was one of the few that offered a nice nylon wire loom sheathing to protect the more exposed wiring like inside of the fenders. It does come with several ty-wraps to help hold things up and out of the way of moving parts but the sheathing is an added benefit.The two provided switches are pretty basic but work well and are designed in line with what you find in most side by sides currently out there so they blend in well. Even if they might not with your machine they are attached to a pre-wired block plug so it would be a 30 second job to replace them with ones you may like better.You will notice that this kit doesn't have as many options as some, (like stop lighting), but I wasn't looking for that since my machine already had it from the factory. I didn't want duplicates of features I already had, so this add-on kit was just right.The wiring is of a decent thickness it it is evident that the manufacturer took the design time and effort to attempt to minimize any water intrusion at the junctions and parts. A quality rubber is used, like on grommets on light gaskets and in critical areas like the fully shrouded fuse assembly and junction box. During the instillation I did not see any areas of concern about water intrusion.There are nice assemblies used for waterproof wire connections throughout and enough of the pre-assembled wiring is supplied for a full-sized, 2-seat machine if you plan out your instillation carefully; which brings me to my only negative about this kit. The manufacturer / supplier is obviously assuming that someone who purchases this kit has basic 12V electrical instillation experience and therefore they DO NOT provide any instructions. So keep that in mind and if you don't have those capabilities, then this can be an excellent kit that you can have someone install for you!

This is one of those kits that really make adding street-legal features to your recreational vehicle easy. I got this kit for a sand-rail project in the garage that we want to make street legal. Understanding that this was designed more for ATV's and side-by-sides, it can be easily used with minor modifications for my unique project. The wiring harness was assembled well and even has wire loom to keep the wires bundled and protected. The LED's are very bright and the switch illuminates and blinks to let you know which direction is flashing. The hazard button also lights and flashes as well. The horn is very loud and easily hits 100+ dB. The only drawback to be aware of is that no instructions or schematics are included to tell you which wires go where, so you'll have to hook to a battery first to identify which lights activate with the switches. An oversight by the seller, but does not affect the quality or function of the lights. This works well for my project! 5/5 stars.
