Hi Folks,I just purchased this set only because as everyone knows, Canon wants upwards of $80 just for the adapter which is crazy. This set works great. It fits and I have had no problems with it falling off. The images are clear and bright without any hazing. In some cases, it is correct to say, you get what you pay for. In other cases, it is very safe to say, it is not the money you pay but the price you pay for the name! Trust me, this set works great and the seller is very responsive if you have any questions. I will say, the adapter is marked, SX30 and SX40 but it does fit the SX50 HS with no problems. Once the adapter is on correctly, just screw on the uv filter and keep it on. I keep it on to protect the main lens, this is really the only reason I purchased the UV Filter in the first place. It is a great price and a quality product. Buy it...Cheers!
