About this item

  • SIZE - 26mm(1.02-inch) Drilling Diameter, 9.6mm(0.37-inch) Shank Diameter. The hole saw achieves high precision and smooth cuts without edge breakage, with good toughness and high strength.
  • DIAMOND COATED - Diamond coating enhances the drilling speed, which makes the bit more sharp.Electroplated diamond is uniform and more wear-resistant.
  • NICKEL PLATED SURFACE - Nickel plating surface can extend the service life and enhance the surface corrosion resistance. Diamond coating maximizes performance and retains a sharper cutting edge than traditional carbide or bimetal hole saws.
  • SPECIAL DESIGN - The diamond hole saw with clearance hole facilitates the entry of cooling water and the escape of chips from the drilled hole. Makes the drilling process easier. Not suitable for drilling tempered glass, plastic and wood.
  • APPLICATIONS - Perfect for drilling glass, ceramics, porcelain, ceramic tile, porcelain tile, limestone, slate, marble, light stone and fiberglass. (Need to be used at a low speed; Always use lubrication (water) when processing)

I was apprehensive about cutting a hole in 6mm glass, all for nothing as it was absolute doddle with this hole saw.I began by cutting a guide through 18mm plywood, then 4 holes in the 6mm glass and it showed no signs of wear.

I used this to drill larger drainage holes in the bottom of half-barrel RESIN planters. It worked great at first, but it did not make as clean holes on the last two holes I drilled because hung up on the RESIN material.

I ordered Jul. 6th with delivery scheduled for September. The bits came within one week!!! (Amazon still thinks they were not delivered LOL). I needed to drill 1” hole through cinderblock basement wall to install electrical outlet outside. I thought this will wear both bits given the price. To my pleasant surprise the first bit chewed through 2x2” of Cinderblock’s two cement walls with ease. I did not even attempt to cool the bit with stream of water while cutting in. I’d only dip it in a can of cold water every 30 seconds or so. That was enough. Job done in under 5 minutes, the bit is still looking good and ready for future use, while second bit Remains in unused condition. Great tool for DIY-er at a very, very low price compared to what local hardware store would charge for same diameter diamond coated home saw.

I used this drill to cut a faucet hole through a 7mm thick ceramic tile. I cut the hole before I mounted the tile. I used a drill press and a rubber mat under the tile, and a small spray bottle of water to keep the drill cool and clear. I only cut one hole so far, but it cut through like a hole saw through soft wood. I anticipate getting several holes from each drill. It was very easy. I would use these whenever I needed to cut holes through tiles.

Happy it came with 2 these things die out as soon as you use them, made it 1/2 way through and already the first was spent and I had to switch, that said I only needed it for this one hole and wasn't about to drop 40 bucks, great value, material I was drilling through was marble and a little plywood which I used to guide it, I also sprayed it with water as it started overheating rather fast
