This is getting such a low review because the cables are made incorrectly. The red wire on the ribbon indicates pin one. However, the cable is attached backwards so it is not pin 1, but pin 13. By itself that wouldn't be an issue. But because the connectors are polarized, it makes it more confusing when connecting.

The ribbon cable is installed in the plastic connector backwards. The standard for serial wiring is for the red wire to denote pin 1 which is shown on the plastic connector by a small triangle on the side of the connector. This cable has the red wire in the pin 14 position.My picture shows the triangle on the left, which is where pin 1 is. The red wire is on the wrong side.
