Worked great on a ip camera that needed a different lens to get a much wider field of view. Even though this is for 1/3" I used this on a 1/4" with no problems. Easy to install, came with a dust cap on the outside of the lens, I would have liked to see a dust cap on both ends personally but that's a very minor thing. I will not hesitate to buy another one of these if the need arises and will look to them for possibly even wider viewing options, even if it causes a little fish eye effect.

In my opinion this lens gave a field of view somewhere between 45 and 60 degrees, not what I would call 'wide angle'. However, it arrived on time, fitted and worked perfectly, I've kept it as a spare.

Lens seemed fine, but the threads were not long enough to replace the lens in my SJ4000 camera.

Great product, work just as described. My cameras came with 6mm lenses, changing the lenses was cheaper than buying other cameras.

The lens performs as advertised. Thus far, I have no complaints. I would recommend it as a good, wide-angle, replacement lens.

Bought this lens to replace the 6mm lens that came with one of our Night Owl cameras. It's easy to screw in at first, but then gets very difficult. The barrel ended up being too short, so by the time it was screwed in far enough to barely start being able to get any kind of picture, the glass inside had already started cracking. As my wife, who was inside monitoring the picture on the TV, kept saying a little bit more, the glass cracked into a million pieces at both ends. Then we had a hell of a time getting it out because it was screwed in so tight, and ended up damaging the ccd on the camera itself in the process, and now have to replace it. A $6 piece of junk now caused us to have to spend another $99 on a new four pack of cameras. It was either that or replace the cameras at $39.99 a pop. God, I hate theives...
