I used this in a smart valve project. It had a nice ball detent that reafirms a change of position. I wish it would have came with a piniut diagram but 5 minutes with a multimeter will get it done.

Good switch for specific applications, just too bad I had to buy 2 to get the one I needed.

These low voltage, low current rotary switches work fine for audio routing; the picture shows me using 2 of them in a guitar Fx pedal. At this time I've purchased 8 of them, and while there are some minor material variances between batches, they are functionally equivalent. While these are not Switchcraft quality they are rugged enough for Fx foot pedal fabrication. One heads up: these are split shaft devices so if you are going to use a knob that uses a set screw then consider inserting a shim in the shaft slot so you don't crush the 2 halves of the shaft together. I've given them 5/5 stars because for their cost they are a great value.
