These are hard to find RJ10 or RJ9 modular plug that isn't technically a plug. Its sole purpose is to connect the telephone headset to the telephone base on old telephones. Get the crimper for RJ10 or RJ9 as well. RJ10 or RJ9 is one in the same plug, just some countries call it RJ10 and other countries call it RJ9. It takes 2 minutes to replace the plug with the RJ9 or RJ10 crimper tool. These items, tiny RJ9/RJ10 plug or crimper tool, are not sold locally anywhere. Nothing else will work so get them both.

Probably my crimping tool but it took alot of squeezing and manipulating to get a good contact with the wire.
