What a difference these tubes made to the bass of my 8 inch Memphis audio Prx824. I have 2 of them ina 1.1 ft³ enclosure, and these are rear facing, so I have them pushed to the corner of the room, and with just one 8 inch, it fills the room with bass. It's going to work great for my home theater sub. I've got two more enclosures, and two more tubes. I think I'll port one of them, and have two subs for my theater set up. Because with a vented (ported) enclosure, it doesn't take much power to get a response from your subs. And DON'T PORT SEALED ENCLOSURE! I ported these because, at the factory where these was made, they forgot to vent, the vented enclosures, lol. So these where supposed to be vented, so the internal dimensions are the correct size to be vented. A sealed enclosure doesn't have enough airspace to support any vents, you'll just get noise.
