needed to assemble a 6mm motor to 1/4" stainless rod for a sanding jig, one I made to assemble and sand/shape cork rings for fishing rod grips. It also aids in eliminating excess vibration from motor alignment.

Excelente junta que por un lado elimina vibraciones de pequeños desalineamientos y por otros resiste muy bien tirones axiales. Asi es ideal para usar en ejes verticales pesados.

Do yourself a big favor and get these for your 3d printers Z axis. They cured most of my layer issues, banding etc. The stepper motor end sits dead center to the threaded rod now. No more wiggle of the threaded rods. Quality product.

These are worse than the stock lead screw coupling for 13 dollars apiece I paid don't waste your money

Will fit many 3d printers, no give or slop, but does allow a little angular movement if your Z screws are a little out of whack

I got this to 'upgrade' the coupler connecting the z-rod to the stepper motor on my Ender 3 Pro 3D printer. It was supposed to make things better, but it made the prints come out worse. Had to swap back to the original. I'm not sure if that is a reflection on the coupler or the printer or what. It might work fine in other uses, but didn't for this one.

These may be cloned ruland disc couplers but they work well for 3d printers. The machining is not perfect but accurate enough. Make sure to not bottom out the motor shaft and lead screw when using these. There should be an airgap between the lead screw and the shaft. Just make sure it's flushed with the inner metal lips. If the two are bottomed out and touching, you essentially end up with a semi-rigid coupler which will cause a lot of headaches. If you're using this in a dual-z 3d printer, make sure your carriage moves freely along the z-axis. Uneven friction on either side will result in uneven movement (lag) as disc couplers are designed to have a little bit of compression.

expensive, but much better than those ones with the plastic bits. recommended.

They work well I was looking for something that kept both shafts aligned on center but allowed for some flex without adding any dampening/sponginess to rotation. That is pretty much exactly what these do. They do not have any sort of break away mechanism, I didn’t want that, but don’t expect these to save you if you’re crashing things into each other.

I was looking for a coupler to fit in a tight spot and thought this would work. Of the 2 couplers I ordered, one of the couplers is almost a mm wider and has a slightly different finish, but the other is perfectly acceptable. I will be returning both and looking for a more consistent quality coupler.

Sembra molto più resistente rispetto a quelli totalmente in alluminio flessibili , promette bene
