This pot doesn't even hit 10kOhms, which is the most basic required function. I tried 2 meters - both accurately identified the max as 9.22kOhms. The graduated dial is useless, as the pot only rotates ~300 deg, meaning if you set the zero point, the dial will read shy of 8 on the dial before hitting its max stop. Why show a graduated marking of 0-10? It looks good in a picture but is functionally useless. The winding is subpar, the resistance nonlinear, honestly this pot wouldn't be worth $2 let alone $20. Don't buy and stay clear of the vendor.

First knob lasted just over one month, worked perfectly for that time. Exchanged for another. Lasted 2 days. Purchased a quality 10k potentiometer off another website. Was using to modify a temperature signal to an ecu. Do not recommend if your looking for consistency, accuracy or lots of use.

This potentiometer works great. The variable resistance goes from about 1.5 Ohms to 11.5 kOhms. I really needed a 2W, 2kOhm pot, and I got this one as overkill. The amount of change in the low resistances is a little high, around 150 Ohms of reliability, but still works well for my purposes. Generally well constructed, but I have found that the resistance can jump, I've found it linearly increases to 800 Ohms, then drops to 600 Ohms, and then rises again. But for the price, it is still a good option.

Well for my project i didn’t read carefully enough and tried to use this 10,000 Ohm Potentiometer with a 9 Volt battery and needless to say it didn’t work out as planned. as for the Potentionmeter itself, it is very light and compact and i love the dial on it. very easy to turn.

Didn't work for what I needed but it was my fault I ordered the wrong thing.

Beware! Full rotation of this "pot" is only 270-degrees. This is enough different from the "standard" 300-degree rotation to throw off the pointer on the faceplate. Not too cool.Otherwise, it's appears to be well-built, low-noise, and 1 Ohm to 100K Ohm..

Very high quality linear potentiometer. I used these in a sim racing motion simulator project after high torque fast motion from motors caused previous cheaper potentiometers to consistently fail. These are much higher quality than the basic "10 pack" potentiometers found on Amazon.I use these for high-precision high-torque applications and they haven't failed me yet. Extremely happy with my purchase.

Got this for a project. Opened the package, immediately noticed it was sticky and scratched up. Turned the knob a few times and it just popped off and won't stay on. It seems like it was poorly press fit. Instant return.

I have an amplifier with a remote volume control connection and I used this pot and it works great. Used push-on connectors and drilled a hole in a small project box using 3/8 inch bit to mount the control. Small screw locks the knob onto the shaft.
