An inexpensive analog AC-Amps panel meter.Mine was built into an outlet metering power box. This is a direct connect current meter - wire it in SERIES with the thing you want to measure the current of. No shunt resistors or sense coils.Applying power directly across it will blow something up.Accuracy is adequate and within published specifications.Response is fast, with minimal overshoot. This is quite useful for watching for transients and inrush, but I wouldn't consider it reliable for actually measuring inrush.

Perfect for my needs, where I want a self-powering indication of current (solar project). Digital readouts are nice, but the power required and the necessary polarity of wiring issues are problematic. Analog is self-power, and very simple to wire in series.

I mistakenly ordered the AC version, wanted the DC version. Re-ordered the DC version. From what I can tell this item should work if I use it in an AC circuit.

This item was poorly packaged and when put into service on a max 10 amp circuit, it lasted about 3 minutes. Got what I paid for. Not a good item imo.

Satisfied. Sometimes an analog meter gives you a better understanding of the power surge at startup. Meter came properly packaged to avoid damage and arrived promptly. Seems to be of similar quality as meters from Japan which are very good.

Works well. Verified its reading with a fluke meter. I like that it has a calibration screw to zero it in. Not overly robust, but fine if you don't plan on abusing it. very satisfactory for the price.

Needed to measure amps to various appliances to set up a solar power system. This is exactly what is needed and works like a charm
