I was rebuilding the carburetor on my 1965 Cub Cadet mower, 8hp Kohler engine. When trying to install the float needle valve seat, the threads were the wrong pitch, so could not use the new seat. The fiber seals were the wrong diameter, so had to use the old one on the old valve seat and I used the new fiber seal on the bottom bowl bolt. It fit fine. The float valve needle was a little longer than the old one, so had to modify the float in order to use the new needle. The bowel seals and float pivet pin worked fine.
