Information
Reamers are with one or more cutter teeth. Holes can be with exact size and shape after the reamers' processing. Finished product can be smooth, intact and more beautiful.
Reamers can be used to process holes in small cuts based on guiding function, such as: holes with diameter tolerance in ≤IT8; holes with requirements in surface roughness (≤Rz12 generally); holes with requirements in roundness tolerance; holes with requirements in cylindricity; stepped holes (different diameter holes on the same axis); series holes (diameter holes on the same axis) with requirements in high coaxality.

Straight Flute
Straight flute tools allow chips to collect in the flutes and can make shallow cuts in most applications. For reaming cylindrical shape holes.

This reamer basically melted in my mill like it was made of inferior metal. Even though I was lubricating and running it at the correct speed. Totally useless and cost me more in the long run when I had to buy the quality American made one.Should have known that a cheap Chinese reamer would have been junk...
