One pass over a piece of glass totally destroyed the diamond coating. Not sure it was bait and switch, but beware.

I bought this triangle diamond file to sharpen a specific carbide stone tool. After about 15 minutes I had worn all the diamonds off. It may be fine on plain steel. The carbide manufacturer recommended a diamond file so I tried it.
