This collet nut worked on an AMB spindle with the ER16 collet option. Much cheaper than the original and makes it easier when switching to alternate collets. I don't have equipment top measure the balance, but no unusual vibrations were detected.

I purchased one of these so I would have a spare nut for my spindle. I snapped in a 3/16" collet into the nut and grabbed my 3/16" bit and attempted to feed it into the collet. No matter how hard I tried I was not able to get the bit into the collet. With my original nut it works fine. Tried 5 other collets and the results were the same. I am going to return this as it is completely unusable. Horrible tolerances. Do not buy this.
