Working Principle
When the electrical appliance works normally, the bimetallic sheet is in the free state and the contact is in the closed / open state. When the temperature reaches the operating temperature, the contact is opened / closed, and the circuit is cut / closed, so as to control the temperature. When the electric appliance cools to the reset temperature, the contact will automatically close / open and return to the normal working state.

Please Note
1.Do not collapse, loosen or deform the top of cover surface during installation to avoid affecting performance.
2.Do not allow liquid to penetrate into the interior of the thermostat or crack the housing.
3.The thermostat should be stored in a warehouse with RH less than 90% and ambient temperature less than 40 ℃, which is ventilated, clean, dry.

This was to run some computer fans to help cool a household refrigerator in an RV. I had added a thermal switch to our old RV fridge to try to get it to work better a couple of years ago but the old fridge has always struggled to keep cool, so when I purchased a new household refrigerator I retained the fan system to cool this one too. I had noticed that the old thermal switch would turn on and off every few seconds and sometimes wouldn't work at all, so I figured that it was time to replace the switch. I purchased a 140F switch because I didn't want the fans running all of the time and it was the most readily available, but I also purchased a digital oven thermometer because I have another one of these 140F thermal switches installed on my solar charge controller and the only time it has ever turned on is when I tested it with a heat gun and it melted the carpeting. That switch has not switched on since I installed that thermal switch either 9 months ago so I will also be replacing that with a 122F switch.
