Not sure actually whether my leg screws are metric or SAE. It's an italian piece if that makes a difference. Screwed in fine. I drilled a hole in the wood platform behind the original holes, which were in rough shape. Tapped the body in, fastened with screws (not supplied, a bit annoying). Super solid now, took me about 15 minutes to do 4 legs.

fit and finish not too good, threads ok but attach holes mostly distorted
