I am adhering one of these NC thermal switches to each 310AH LiFePO4 cell in a pack using a thermally conductive silicone paste. They are wired in series to the "run" terminals on the BMS monitoring the pack. If ANY cell exceeds the switch temp (I chose 55C to stay well below the rated 60C of the cells) the break in the series string will disable the BMS which will disconnect the pack for ALL loads. I chose to add this extra layer of protection as the BMS only has a single remote temp sensor which is fine for near freezing ambient temp protection, but inadequate for cello cell over temp protection.
