Specification :
Product Name : Thermostat
Action Temperature : 75℃
Action Type: N.C (Normal Close)
Power : 250V 5A
Pin Type : 2 Wires
Wire Length : 70mm/2.76inch
Main Body Material : Plastic
Life : 100,000 times

Package Content :
2 x Thermostat

Description :
1.Normally Closed: The original state of temperature control switch contact is closed, and open when the temperature sensing exceeds the rated temperature.
2.Features : temperature controller has the characteristics of small size, quick action, accurate temperature control, large current control and long service life.
3.Working Principle : uses square sheet as temperature sensor. When the temperature rises to the action temperature, the square sheet jumps suddenly, the transmission contacts act quickly, and the circuit is disconnected. When the temperature drops to the action temperature, the sheet is reset and the contacts are restored to their original state, so as to achieve the purpose of on-off circuit.
4.Application : Be applicable to all kinds of home appliances and electronics products. Such as Electric Motors, Fluorescent Ballasts, Transformers, Solenoids, Heating pads, OA-Machines

To test normally closed working properly, I clamped it to my ohm resistance fluke test meter and had continuity, (a closed contact through switch) and put it in boiling water. Then after about 7 seconds the internal switch mechanism heated up and opened as intended, (then gave an open infinite resistance reading) then after removing, it cooled as intended and the switch closed again (giving a closed continuity reading).
