Product Description

Deep Groove Ball Bearings

Deep Groove Ball Bearings

  • Deep Groove Ball Bearings are one of the most widely used rolling bearings. They are used to accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions (Mainly bear radial load, but also can bear a certain amount of axial load).
  • With small friction and high-limit speed, Ball Bearings are cost-effective and require little maintenance.
  • Suitable for all kinds of industrial equipment, motor, roller wheels, office equipment and so on.
  • Note: Please confirm the size and type of ball bearing before ordering.

Selecting Guide:

  • Shields (Designation Suffix Z/ZZ) - High speed. Protect from dirt and debris.
  • Sealed (Designation Suffix RS/2RS) - Made of sheet steel reinforced rubber (oil- and liquid-resistant). Lower limit speed than Shield Bearings.
Deep Groove Ball Bearings

  • Single-row
  • Pre-lubricated
  • Normal accuracy

Nice smooth bearing , I guess I will find out the longevity of it when I start using my 12 V trolling motor for a few years.

Update: Seller offered a refund, but I decided to hold onto them (maybe use on future project where complete silence isn’t necessary). These worked for a fan motor, but whined at all speeds. These are probably fine for low speed applications or higher speeds where noise is not a concern. I replaced these with SKF 608-2RSH/C3, which worked perfectly.

I work in the food manufacturing industry. Everything get washed down daily. Water destroys steel bearings quickly. We switched to these bearings and have saved a fortune in parts, labor and downtime. Well worth the money.

I needed a bearing with corrosion resistance for an furnace inducer motor application. Humidity is present in the environment, and the original bearings failed due to rust formation. This stainless steel bearing appears to meet the corrosion resistance requirement, but upon installation and testing the bearings overheated in a motor rotating at 3450 RPM within a few minutes of powering up. The bearings were subsequently removed, and a new set from the lot of 10 ordered was prepared by first removing the blue seal using a razor blade tip and carefully prying the blue seal loose from the bearing mating surface. Red tacky automotive chassis and wheel bearing grease was installed in the cage area between the races of the bearing, and then the seal was reinstalled. Next the bearings were installed in the motor and tested in operation. The result was bearings operating at the nominal temperature of this motor. Conclusion: If this bearing is used in a motor, it is highly recommended to replace the existing lubricant with a high quality automotive grease before installation. Otherwise the bearing will overheat quickly and fail.
