I use these to monitor the current in a 15,000 volt circuit and thought the first time its used ...boom... there it went!! However the little bugger is the meter that could and its still going well.HOWEVER, we are smart enough not to mount this in a metal enclosure and to keep fingers away from it when the current is on as it will definitely go "boom" with you as well,Ill upload a photo later of the meter in use and what its connected too,

Item works as described. Condition of the item upon receipt not so much. Received our first one with a large crack as in the complete height on the display. Very noticeable and would have easily been caught upon packing if care and attention had been paid. Waiting on our second one to arrive and then taking the time to return the first.

Outside the label which looks like it was stamped (Which I didn't care about as I was replacing it anyways), the unit is really high quality. Very solid and shows just the right amount of response to low AC currents.
