Bin ich froh, keine Batterien mehr wechseln, wie hatte mich das genervt.Vorgehen:Loch gebohrt welches leicht größer ist als die Batterie und diese dann durchgeführt und in der Klingel laut Anleitung (Strom führende Batterie-Attrappe rechts) eingesteckt und das Flachkabel vorsichtig in der Nut der Verschlusskappe gelegt und geschlossen. Klingel wieder angebracht.Den Trafo an der Stelle angebracht, wo sie hin sollte und das Kabel der Batterie in der Holwand versteckt.Stecker abgeschnitten, passt ja nicht, da es ein amerikanischer Stecker ist, Aderendhülsen drauf und dann verbunden mit dem Stromkreis.Getestet, funktioniert 100%Fazit:Etwas basteln, wer sich an die Elektrik heran traut macht es selber, ansonsten lasse es bitte anschließen. Ich habe den Beruf mal erlernt :-)

Between the cost of lithium batteries and having to replace them every time I turn around I was about ready to stop using it. Now of course you can turn everything to a minimum and they might last a little while longer but then whets the sense of having it. Then I saw this on amazon and I’m back to loving my door cam. I got one g fo or every device I have that’s carries 3v. ( 2- 1.5 v AA batteries.). And I have quite a few of them. I save so much money on batteries it’s crazy. At an average of $10 for 2, depending where you get them with around 14 devices that use anywhere between 2 and 4 batteries each, well you do the math.

This power supply works well for running the Blink doorbell and I no longer have to buy expensive batteries. My biggest pro for this is that other than during power outages, I no longer experience the sudden loss of the doorbell and camera when it's needed the most.My installation is one with the doorbell attached to the door rather than the wall beside the door frame. I have placed aluminum tape (for metal ducts) over the flat cable as it goes round the backside of the door, between the hinges, for protection against pinching the wires. There is a large loop of cable (about 1.5" diameter) between the door and the frame to allow the door to open without overly stressing the cable.
