Purchased to use with a baofeng F8HP/UV5R 8 watt radio desktop battery charger. I thought it was charging when first tested, but lights on desktop charger are always green. It is not charging and measured output is not 10v. Mine shows 9.13v output from every usb A source I have tried.

I ordered this USB charger adapter, thinking it would work like other Baofeng 7.2 volt chargers. It should have plugged into the factory charger, allowing 10 volt USB charging as that is what is required by the charger base. However it does not work with the UV-9G charger base, even though the voltage and polarity is the same. Very disappointed as Baofeng does not have a USB charge option for the UV-9G yet.
