This replacement battery works with my Dyson vacuum and offers slightly better performance than the original. In my tests, it delivered about 55 minutes of runtime, compared to 52 minutes with the OEM 2800mAh battery. However, there is one minor issue: the vacuum doesn’t always start right away. I usually have to pull the trigger a few times before it kicks in. This seems to be a quirk related to the battery’s BMS board, and while it’s a bit inconvenient, it hasn’t affected actual use once the vacuum is running.

Battery only last long enough to vacuum one room, then needs to be recharged. Also, you have to pump the start button several times before it will start to work, never did that with the original battery. Not worth the money or the headache to use it. Just gonna buy a cheapy that way it's easier to replace when it dies out.

DELAYED START UP WHEN I PULL THE DYSON TRIGGER. HAVE TO DO IT TWO OR THREE TIMES TO GET THE DYSON GOING. DID NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH DYSON OEM PARTS.

I bought this to replace the dead battery on my Dyson V8, and honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first — third-party batteries can be hit or miss. But this one actually surprised me in a good way. Installation was super easy (took maybe 10 minutes total), and it came with all the little tools and extras I didn’t even know I’d need.The battery life is noticeably better than the original one when it was dying — I get a solid 30-40 minutes of vacuuming now depending on the mode. The blue light indicator is a nice touch too.

Installation is straightforward. Compatible to OEM charger. The new battery last longer than original Dyson battery. Very good quality.

I have a Dyson V8 and I kind of regret purchasing it, actually. After just a couple of years, the battery life depleted so much that it was basically unusable. I timed it on a full charge before I replaced it with this battery and, no joke, I got 45 seconds of use out of it before it petered out. Cool.This battery fits perfectly and installed with just a few screws. My only complaint is that the instruction book is printed so small that I could barely see what it said. (Full disclosure: I'm 45 and have started wearing reading glasses, so your eyeballs may do better than mine.) I didn't even fully charge it before using it, but I got about 7 minutes worth of usage on High, which is basically identical to what the battery life was when my vacuum was brand new. If the battery lasts even longer than that fully charged, I'm happy.I'm really thrilled that for a modest amount of money, I was able to salvage this stupidly expensive vacuum. Next time I'll just buy something cheap and corded. But for now, I'm really happy with this battery.

Easy to install. The screwdriver given by the manufacturer works better than my own tool.The battery works perfectly and lasts long.The 5-year old Dyson is back to work and feels like it can work for at least another 5 years!Huge savings compared to get a new Dyson!
