Works well as a SSD enclosure for my Getac V110 G5. M.2 NGFF SATA SSDs are becoming more diffcult to find and unfortunately my G5 does not support NVME. BE Careful of the pull tab. I pulled wrong and ripped one off. The enclosure is still usable but I use a plier to remove that particular one.

Important distinction, as later models use PCIE. This is for SATA m.2. Works as it should, exactly as the original one.

Okay - This V110 M.2 SSD Hard Drive Caddy Bracket is a compatibility accessory designed specifically for the Getac Latitude rugged laptop. The caddy (adapter) allows you to install a M.2 SSD if you need more storage space for files, programs, or data. The caddy bracket has a SATA interface (no cable incl) and on the OUTSIDE, the caddy itself LOOKS to have durability suitable for harsh environments. It started off disappointing with the packaging (-1) it was a pink plastic bubble wrap envelope (x) no SATA cable (x) no instructions (x) nothing Just the caddy itself. I said okay, maybe it is a refurbished unit or a fluke - idk (?) So, with no instructions at all, I had to go on over to YouTube. Surprisingly not much infos there either, but hey, no big deal. Keep going...Next, I opened it up and the interface is straightforward. My complaint here is that the M.2 mount is unsupported. No cushion or anything to keep the SSD from banging around. Lastly the caddy says it is rugged-tized. While it has 5 screws to hold the drive in the case - that's it. Forgive me if I expected more but I thought it would have been a bit more rugged since it is marketed exclusively for a Getac...The M.2 SSD drive DID indeed fit with no problem. Next...Price? No (-1).Listen. I WANT to like this caddy. I really do. But I DON'T want an expensive M.2 4TB SSD to get messed up by using this caddy in a harsh environment.I am going to give this caddy 3-stars (barely). If I'm wrong tell me where, and I will update my review...
