Just received this V5 Pro and so far it is excellent for all streaming. Easy to use, great voice remote, and super clear video. No buffering or stuttering on any channels, just make sure you have a speedy internet and router. No problems at all with wifi and connected immediately. The included mini keyboard is useable but very small and difficult to read keys. Great little device.

Great Android box. Easy to install and comes pre loaded with some apps. The picture quality is great, connects properly to TVs with HDMI. I love that it comes with two remotes, a standard one, and one with a keyboard to allow typing and interacting with search easily. Was able to install some applications direct from hitting the APK urls for downloads as I chose this route instead of logging in with my personal accounts. Overall great powerful box with powerful applications.

This is a wonderful way to cancel your cable. It works really well if the internet has a strong signal.

I had been searching for a rack that I could put all my stuff on to free up space elsewhere. This one is perfect for the job! It is sturdy, in the fact that my older kids have yet to knock it over. The shelves are a great size for everything. I love the little holders that it comes with. They are perfect to store other random things. The height is great as well, easy to tuck into a corner. The only issue I had was building it and getting everything to line up, but I think that is more because Iām not the greatest and putting things together. The instructions were easy to follow for assembly. Make sure you line the holes up correctly so you can get the screws in. Once it is all put together it is cute. It seems pretty sturdy as well. The poles are metal. I definitely recommend this 100%.

So, I have a Chromecast with Google TV. Great, little device, but it's kinda of old and a little sluggish. I did consider getting another Android TV device. Decided I'd try this out.I got everything here that was pictured. The box itself, a nice remote, a hdmi cable, the power adapter, and some strange keyboard touchpad thing which is surprisingly cool.I have no idea who vseebox is, but that's what you see while it's starting up. It has its own little oobe which walks you through getting the remote connected, setting up your internet connection, time zones, and all of that stuff. Once done, you are tossed to the home screen which is pretty generic. It's just a blue background with the time and weather at the top and the apps at the bottom.I had no clue what was on the box going in. This is one of those fully loaded Android TV boxes. It comes with four apps on it called Heat Live, Heat VOD, VOD Ultra, and Backup By Heat.Heat Live has almost every USA TV channel and premium channel you can think of along with many local channels. On top of a normal channel guide, everything is categorized by type. There's a sports section, an animation section, and so on. Compared to my actual cable TV service, there's a delay by about a minute, but other than that the picture is buttery smooth with no drop outs or stuttering. Resolution is 1080p, 1080i, or 720p depending on the channel. There's about 15 4K channels too, but half of them did not work.Heat VOD is the app that has movies and TV shows on it. Resolution and quality varies depending on what you're watching, but once again, everything you can think of is there. Even new releases are there, but in cam rip form.VOD Ultra contains the catalogues of nearly every streaming service. The only major streaming service that is missing is Crunchyroll, but both Heat VOD and VOD Ultra still have tons of anime on them if you feel like weebing. You get the option of browsing the streaming services by TV shows or Movies and then they are broken down even further by category. Resolution and quality depends on what you try to watch.Last is Backup by Heat which is the same as Heat Live but with a slightly different interface. I guess this in case of Heat Live not working. So, once again, it seems like pirates get the better deal compared to legit customers because I have to say, all four apps work flawlessly. Clearly the price of this thing is so high because you're paying for the iptv service upfront. The hardware itself is nothing special and would probably be equivalent to the hardware inside of a $40-$50 legit Android TV box. All four apps mention lifetime subscriptions, but there's no telling how long all this will last. Buying something like this is extremely risky when you could do something similar yourself for much cheaper. Is it worth it? Probably. Depends on you. Me, I would not take the risk. Now since my warning is out of the way, let's talk about the box itself. The SOC is an Amlogic 905Y4 with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It has USB ports, SD card slot, and an ethernet port, but it's a 100 one. It feels much snappier than my only comparative device, the Chromecast with Google TV. Apps load nearly instantly with pretty much no lag compared to the Chromecast which would lag and stutter at times. I have yet to experience that here.In terms of video support, I'll keep it brief. It does support HDR10, but it does not support Dolby Vision. It does not support frame rate matching or automatic frame rate switching, so you must select the output resolution and frame rate you want manually, and you must do it twice because there are two settings apps - the vseebox settings app and the Android TV settings. You must also select which flavor of YCbCr you want in the Android TV settings. For whatever reason, the video signal becomes unstable if I go over YCbCr420 10-bit so I set it at that. Yes, my TV which is a Samsung OLED can do better, but for some reason the video signal drops if I try to go above that.It does support surround sound and Dolby Digital Plus. There's two tiers of audio settings required to get it to push surround sound out because there are two settings apps. For the vseebox settings, do not enable "audio passthrough". For the Android TV settings, go to "Advanced sound settings" and enable "Automatic" under "Select formats". For whatever reason, this was the magic combination of settings required to get surround sound and Dolby Digital Plus working on my end.I do not use the actual YouTube app. I use SmartTube Next. It works flawlessly here with performance similar, maybe slightly better than the Chromecast. It has hardware VP9 decoding support. HDR works. Surround sound through Dolby Digital Plus works (yes, YouTube supports Dolby Digital Plus). So, for watching YouTube, everything works and it's how I did most of my testing. I also don't use the actual Twitch and use SmartTwitchTV. That worked flawlessly too. While this thing is definitely not Google Play Certified, it does have the Google Play Store and you can access it. Netflix and Disney+ are already on it, and I also have access to Hulu and Paramount+ so I got those installed. They worked fine, but like I previously stated, this device doesn't do Dolby Vision so HDR10 is all you get.For emulation. It seems to be fine for systems up to around PS1, N64, Saturn, Dreamcast territory. For those, it depends on the emulator used, games, and the settings. The Android TV install is 11. Yes, it is Android TV instead of actual Android just chucked onto a box. It was also locked down with developer mode disabled and root disabled. Enabling developer mode through clicking on the build number did not work. I had to use an app for that. I could not get root to happen either. It seems be locked down in some way I don't know of. Maybe it can be rooted, but I don't need that and didn't bother going further.I got my favorite Android TV launcher, which is Wolf Launcher, installed and got a weather widget running with the installed apps being configured by categories. After getting the prompt to set it as the default launcher, it has never gone back to the stock one. I got my favorite screen saver set up which is aerial views, but the Dolby Vision videos don't work on it which is a bummer. It has been fine overall, but now I have to discuss the negatives.First is the vseebox software and remote support. The included remote is great, no doubt about it, but I have a universal remote with bluetooth support and would rather use that instead. I had no issues getting my universal remote set up. I was able to configure it as an Android TV box remote. The problem is that the vseebox software throws a fit at startup if the included remote isn't detected. A prompt covers the entire screen asking you to pair the included remote to the box. I must wait until my universal remote can connect and hit back on the universal remote to get rid of the prompt. This is a small annoyance, but annoying enough that I feel like I must mention it. I have yet to find a way to disable this.Next is the lack of Dolby Vision support. A streaming box that is almost $400 should not lack it. Even though my TV does not support it, I still find this cheap.Last, I've had an Android TV setting reset. This morning I woke up to the picture settings in the Android TV options being changed. YCbCr420 10-bit was set to YCbCr444 8-bit for some reason. The signal was dropping out due to that. I don't know why this happened, but yeah.Another thing to mention is that there's no telling how long the Heat and VOD apps will last which is why the asking price for this thing is so high in the first place.Overall, it's an okay Android TV box with a sky-high price due to the piracy nonsense on it. I guess it's worth it if you plan on being a pirate, but the question becomes how long will the iptv service last? My final rating is four out of five stars.
