LISTEN TO ME. DO NOT PURCHASE. You cannot use the vacuum in an upright position (meaning you can’t use the hose attachment) with this roller brush. I replaced the brush, vacuumed the floor, then switched to using the hose and out of nowhere I started smelling burning rubber. Thinking it was the belt, I ordered replacement belts for it and after taking my vacuum apart realized the roller brush MELTED. I literally had the new brush for a day before it did this. Terrible quality. Might as well just order a part from bissell’s website.FYI about the photo (I have 3 fluffy dogs hence all the hair.

I bought this to replace my vacuum belt, but I was disappointed that the first belt broke too quickly. I had to replace it with the second one shortly after. I didn’t know you could buy replacement parts so easily. Having it on Amazon is a plus. Cheap but great quality. I clean my hair off but over time you just need a new one! I like the tool that came with the roller as it makes it easier to clean than if you use a scissor to cut the hair. Fits as normal.

I purchased this because after owning my vacuum for a whole 3 days, wife accidentally ran over a sock. It melted the roller into two different pieces and started smoking. It is made out of a thin tube of plastic. This isn't a very well built part but I already owned the vacuum so I had no choice. It was an easy install.
