The machine part works great at sucking the air out of the bags but within 5 minutes the bags leak the air out

When I first saw that little orange apparatus and I got the bags with the blue dot that you would attach it to I thought this is going to never work. I was wrong. My neighbor next door has the great big huge vacuum sealer with all the rolls of plastic you cut to size. Mine works better than hers. Mine holds the seal great. It's a real money saver too. Why.. because unlike the big vacuum sealers that you get rolls you cut up and then you throw them away after use, my bags can be used over and over and over again and they hold their vacuum. Excellent excellent product.

I've been looking for something like this for years to replace one I bought in a grocery store. This holds a charge for a long time and work great with FoodSaver bags. It's so convenient too and instead of lugging out the large food storage machine and dicking around with the cutter, sealing mechanism, etc., I can just pop something in a FoodSaver bag, attach this little gadget and viola, my work is done. It makes food storage so much easier.

This works well and can be used with other bags. Not super fast or really strong suction but it gets the job done for a good price!

Using to seal bags of 3d printing filament, trying to use the hand pump that came with the bags was a joke.2 tips, before turning on give the rubber seal end a good luck or something so you get a good seal. The other thing is, sometimes you have to move it around a bit until it gets the right spot for maximum suction. So if it doesn't seem to be doing anything, try moving the contact point a little bit, or give it a lick BUT NOT WHEN ITS ON!!!!Recharges quickly and one charge lasts a really long time. Also, much more powerful than I was excepting, no regrets

As noted, the vacuum sealer worked properly ONE time. The juice came out of the hole as described. Subsequent attempts... It shut off when pulling up the slightest liquid. So I returned it. The ONE use was great.
