We had it installed by the car dealership so I assume it was an easy install based on the time required. It does everything claimed by the maker. It is a bit complicated to find your way around the pre-sets and other information. Overall, we are very pleased with it.

This is a great alternative for those that purchased a Toyota RAV4 without the Sirius XM installed. 2019 model year does not offer as a stock item. (The trade off was the enhanced safety features offered with the Generation 5 - 2019 Rav4) 2020 models now feature the Sirius XM as stock and the sunroof is now optional.Installation is pretty much straightforward. It took me about 45 minutes. if unsure on how to install. I'd strongly suggest professional installation.Do note some car stereo places can sell this adapter. But, when I enquired, The cost was much higher than what I paid through Amazon.Compatible with all my controls on my RAV4 and the sound is stellar!

Relatively easy to install for someone who is handy and mechanically inclined. Hardest part was trying to figure out the best way to run the antenna wire. Wound up going down the side of the windshield, under the hood and into the back of the glove compartment. Everything works like a charm, presets and all.

Will let you get xm radio in Toyota if you don't have it. Pretty easy installation.

My car was missing XM radio, Thanks to this awesome part I was able to add XM to my radio. I like the fact that you can install it behind the radio and no wire is visible. At first i tough it is not compatible and ready to return but I end up looking again and realized the car wire harness plug not matched with this (On the radio it was black and on this is white) . Regard the function it is as good as it can be, Look at the video on youtube and it does exactly as it shown. getting to save station is a little bit tricky because the radio sees it as an external USB attachment and it is not an internal radio compartment. But if you like xm with OEM radio and don'e wanted to see extra wires, this is you only option.
