We installed an entire wall of IKEA bookcases to use for displaying collectibles. I used these binding posts to secure the individual bookcases to each other eliminating the gaps between units and making the fronts of the units flush with each other. Drilled 13/64 holes straight through both sides., front and back at top, middle and bottom which locked two bookcases together as one solid unit. They worked perfectly.
