I highly recommend this set. The price point is incredibly affordable. When you get this set, it won't seem like much at first, but they shine when being used. They are impact ready and I'm really impressed by the ratcheting and how smooth it is. I honestly didn't expect much but this set easily outshines any of my store brand sets and probably any of my expensive stuff too

I am just starting out on my own and just purchased a new house and I needed a socket set as I can no longer borrow my dad's who's in another state. So far the socket set has come in handy several times and the metal is very strong as I've taken the wrench to its limit, and it has held up very well. It has all of the pieces that I need and so far I am very pleased with its performance. I'm glad I got order.

My current set of sockets are mostly 12 sided sockets so having this set with 6 sided sockets are great. I have recently run into the 12 sided sockets not wanting to grip bolts and slip off. Using these 6 sided ones grabbed and loosened the bolts.The ratchet's fine teeth make for getting bolts out in a tight space much faster. All the sockets fit on the ratchet nice and tight, as well as the extension. Once they are locked on they will not come off unless you push the release button. This is something that is failing on my current rachets so it's nice to get this one that holds on to everything tight.So far this is a great set for the money and feels like it will last forever.

VANQUISH 1/2" Drive Impact Socket Set, 24-Piece Shallow Standard SAE (7/16"-1") & Metric (13-24mm) Size, 72 Teeth Ratchet Handle, 5" Extension Bar 8994I ordered this on October 13th, arrived on October 22nd, via Amazon Delivery, left at our front gate, Amazon tape that holds the box closed was torn open but the contents were intact and undamaged although the plastic wrapping on the plastic case was ripped off.The fit and finish is just okay, no sharp edges or burrs, color is not consistent but the material appears to be durable, is thick walled but the test will be after multiple use with impact tools so I will revisit my review if necessary and I determine this product is substandard. The plastic case is your typical “formed” blow molded case for socket sets, lettering is easy to read. The 72 teeth ratchet works fine for impact sockets, is fine for my needs as I rarely need impact sockets except when working on our vehicles and utility trailer, obtain these as a set that I won’t mind abusing.The suggested MSRP is okay, not cheap but not expensive. I am giving it a 4 Star rating, minus 1 star because snap lock on the case is a little loose so pops open.

This is a fantastic socket set. It is well made and solid. It is as it appears in the pictures, mat black. This does not bother me as I don't need my tools to be chrome. This will be a perfect set for every day use.

This impact socket set comes in a nice case. But the best thing about this set is that the sockets are "six point" sockets, which means they will not "round" your nuts & bolts. It has 3/8 to 1/2 inch adapter, and an adapter to use the sockets with an impact wrench.

This is a solid kit for those who want a relatively simple looking set. If you are the sort of person who likes to have impeccable, chrome plated tools that shine in the dark, this is not for you. The finish is a very simple flat black that is not consistent across the tool. The individual sockets are a little better as they have an oil coating, but on the whole it is a utilitarian finish.The good part is that the kit looks to be well made. The wrench is big, hefty, and doesn't offer very fine ratcheting. That means that it will be stronger as a result, capable of more torque. The sockets are not what I would call 'thin walled'. They have sufficient metal on the sides to handle machinery and other tasks.On the whole I like the kit as I don't particularly care if my wrenches are chromed out. Will update after further use.
