This was a perfect fit for my 2006 Silverado 1500. It was so easy to replace and so far seems to be working well. And it was about half the price of the GM version. I had a check engine light on for evap problem in my car. It fixed my issues!

I swapped out my charcoal canister yesterday because I've been getting a rich code And it's been very difficult to put gas in the gas tank. After watching a YouTube video, I found it was common for the canister to get flooded with gasoline by topping off the tank after it clicks off. It was a fairly easy process involving three hoses and one 13 mm nut. But after putting the new canister in, I noticed I had to stretch the lines to get them to fit over the end of the nipple. It doesn't kink the hoses or anything but I almost kinked The middle one just trying to get it to go over the nipple. Fingers crossed that this kills two birds with one stone.
