Much easier to replace than the entire hose system. It does require cutting the hard plastic hose on the forward end, but easy to fix with a short piece of tubing. So far - no more purge valve codes or gas tank pressure issues.

Apparently these aren't meant to deal with the ethanol blend we are using. works fine for about 5-6 weeks. I'm on my third valve.
