Unfortunately I have to return for a smaller version of the same brand. Reason, I’m in a temporary unit with a tiny kitchen and the countertop is only 12” in depth, I didn’t realize that this is 14.5 in depth so it hangs off the counter and likely to fall off. I have already ordered the same brand in a smaller version.

I found control of this unit a bit confusing and I am not sure I have it right yet but once you get used to it the unit works exceptionally well. The problem is the difficulty in reading the controls. In particular, I wondered why 200 degrees was burning the food. Well, it had shifted to Centigrade. Once I found out how it worked, I had no problem. It shifted to centigrade just by pushing the same button. Once you get used to it, everything works very well and I am pleased with the purchase.

Complain is very simple... It does not get hot enough to bake a steak...or even fish.If you just need it to have it as an extra stove for boiling water or keeping things warm...you will be okay.

The buttons stay cool, unlike another burner I bought in which knobs got so hot (which is dangerous). No smokiness or smell of burning when used either.Heats quickly (just like my stove), and adjustable so you can cook at a lower temp as well. Easy to use and just the right size.

MUch better than my old hot plate high took forever to heat up. Would be better if this had larger implements, it only has 2 small ones, not great for a very large pot
