Second time buying them. They can be used for shirts. For pants, the clips are very strong. Would be excellent for a suit. I mostly use them for hanging my and my family’s pants

The box was crushed a little by UPS, therefore there were several broken hangers. This was not the fault of Amazon. I didn't have time to return them, so I dealt with several less hangers than anticipated. I got them in a sale and they are holding up well!
