They would dry up in a few hours in the summertime in any climate. There’s not enough space for any soul to go with your plant. I don’t think succulents could even survive in these in the summer.

I have the planters set up on my front porch railings. I have my herbs growing in them and they are the perfect size for a few plants in each planter. They are held with a couple of screws each and are sturdy.

I am putting these on the top of a fence to odorn the yard. They are a great addition to my antique style area of the yard. Nice metal.
