The hole in the center was not drilled all the way through. If I would have installed this it would have caused my pressure cooker to explode! Lack of quality control could cause serious harm to anybody that would notice the defect.

Fits All American 921 pressure cooker like a fetus settling in for long winters nap, just don't microwave it.. cooking turns to light show if nuke it

I canned some chicken broth that called for 10 pounds of pressure. Once I got the temperature right on our gas stove I checked the pressure every 10 minutes or so and the pressure was exact. No more adjusting the temperature ever 5 or 10 minutes.
